Very much enjoying my first summer with a garage. Spending quite a bit of money, but it is really nice to finally put some money and, more importantly, effort towards maintaining the truck.

New PCV valve, breather and grommets. Sanded and sprayed (poorly, but from 2 feet its OK) the oil cap.

Valve cover is being powder coated now, very excited to show that off.

Really quite amazing doing all this. Like a dream come true after 34 years of neglect....

After it’s all back together, I am going to run seafoam through both the oil and fuel.

Looking sharp.

I was looking up videos on pcv valve replacement at like 1am last night. Pretty sure it's never been done on my wife's car, and apparently was done 20 years ago on my truck...

You had better check the blinker fluid reser voir. I heard those corrode over time. Nasty stuff.

I don’t know how those works but the VW ones with a membrane usually don’t last 20 years and its always better to change it before they are going bad.
